
Major General Ademola Taiwo
Major General Ademola Taiwo Adedoja was born to the family of Venerable and Mrs James Adedoja of Gidiogbo house Ile Ife on 8th May 1971. He attended the Apostolic Primary School Iloro Ile Ife, before proceeding to Olubuse Memorial High School also in Ile Ife, where he served as the Senior Prefect in 1987. General Ademola Adedoja was admitted into the prestigious Nigerian Defence Academy in 1990 and bagged a Bachelor of Science degree in 1994. He was commissioned into the Nigerian Army Corps of Artillery and promoted to the enviable rank of Major General in 2023. He holds a Master of Science from University of Ibadan and a PhD in view in Leadership and Public Governance from the University of Abuja. In the course of his impeccable and illustrious career, Ademola Adedoja has held several appointments including Directing Staff at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, Directing Staff at the National Defence College Abuja, Brigade Commander of 31 Artillery Brigade Minna Niger State, Deputy Chief of Transformation and Innovation at Headquarters Nigerian Army Abuja. He is presently the Commandant of Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Centre Jaji. He has travelled widely and participated in several military operations in the Bakassi Peninsula, Liberia and Darfur Sudan as well as in South East, North Central, North West and North Eastern Nigeria. He is married with children and enjoys playing golf and squash.
