Dr. Akeeb Olushola Oladele Ajilesoro is from royal blood born on November 5th 1974 by Pa. Saka Oladele Ajilesoro of Edun-Ide Compund Obalufon Royal Family, Ife Central Local Government Area, Ile Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. His mother, Late Madam Ayisat Abike Ajilesoro was born to Chief Buraimoh Awodun Abodunde (Akogun of Ila Orangun).

Prince Akeeb attended St. Murumba Primary School and St. David’s Grammar School, Lagere, Ile Ife.

In the year 1998, he obtained a B.Sc (Hon.) in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He later obtained an MBA in Finance and Banking from University of Port Harcourt, after which he also obtained his M.Sc Degree and Ph.D from the same institution with specialization in Monetary Economics.

Dr. Akeeb Oladele Ajilesoro is an accomplished banker with several distinguished awards over his 25 years experience in the Banking Industry. Over the years, he served at various capacities and held many strategic positions and managerial responsibilities in All States Trust Bank, Universal Trust Bank Plc, Union Bank Plc, Equatorial Trust Bank, and Sterling Bank Plc.
His core areas of competence include: Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Assets & Portfolio Management, Risk Management, Retail & Consumer Banking. Public Sector and Investment Banking.

Dr. Akeeb is an Associate National Institute of Marketing Nigeria (NIMN), Economics Society of Nigeria, Fellow Institute of Chattered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN), Institute of Policy Management Development (IPMD), Fellow Chartered Institute of Administration of Nigeria, Fellow Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (ISMN), Doctoral Fellow Chartered Institute of Human Resources Management.

He also attended various international trainings and courses in Financial Management, Leadership Development and Strategic Management and possesses certificates in Neuroscience For Leadership from Massachusetts Institute of Science and Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management & Executive Education and High Potential Leadership Programme from Havard Business School (HBS) both in Boston, Massachusetts United States of America.

He is the current Chief Executive Officer Ajilesoro Group of Companies. An incorporation comprising of different businesses with interests in Commercial Agriculture, Oil & Gas, Construction & Real Estate Development, Hotels, Tourism & Hospitality, Automobiles, and Investments in Finance & Banking in Nigeria and Overseas.

Dr. Akeeb Olushola Oladele Ajilesoro is the founder and Chairman of Ajilesoro Foundation —- a philanthropic organization that is touching and rehabilitating peoples’ lives and redeeming hopes for many individuals and familes in Ife and various communities across entire Osun State and Nigeria through various humanitarian programmes like education scholarships home and abroad, skills acquisition and training, youth empowerment, leadership training, adults and widows welfare and humanitarian supports through free health care services, distribution of food supplies twice every year and cash donations to the needy and vulnerable people in the society e.t.c.

The Foundation is presently building an ultra-modern Accident and Emergency Edifice at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC) in Ile Ife …. A philanthropic project financed solely from his personal fortunes and donations from members of the Foundation, friends and associates.

From 2007 till date, the Foundation record of philantropy and commitment to community development stand tall in Ife and environs.
