Mr. Augustine Olalekan Elugbaju FCA, FCIT hails from Ile- Olodo Compound, Ilare , Ile-Ife. He is a fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. Augustine has had over 40 years post qualification experience in Oil and Gas Accounting and Taxation practices. He commenced his career at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and served the Organization in various capacities until his retirement in 2012 on the attainment of the statutory age of sixty (60) years.

He benefitted from the World Bank-sponsored training program in Oil & Gas accounting in the USA and a host of other countries. He was at some point the Depot Manager of the Port-Harcourt refinery depot, the biggest petroleum products depot in the country. He has represented NNPC at Senior levels of the profession reviewing Joint Venture operations with the likes of Shell, ExxonMobil, Total Energy etc and other Production Sharing Companies.

He is a member of the Anglican Communion and holds a Chieftaincy title of Otun Alatunse Ijo of St John’s Anglican Church, Ilare, Ile-Ife. He is married and blessed with children and grandchildren
